Hennessey Gives the Expedition Tremor Even More Off-Road Ability

Hennessey Performance Engineering announced modifications to the Ford Expedition Tremor on March 18, 2024, enhancing its off-road capabilities. The upgraded SUV gains an additional two inches of ride height, bringing its total to 12 inches of ground clearance. This lift is achieved through a revised suspension system and larger, 37-inch all-terrain tires mounted on 20-inch wheels. To further protect the vehicle during off-road excursions, Hennessey has equipped the Expedition Tremor with new steel front skid plates and upgraded bumpers. The company also adjusted the SUV's intake and exhaust systems for improved performance and a more aggressive sound. These enhancements are part of Hennessey's VelociRaptor package, which has previously been applied to other Ford models like the Bronco and F-150. The modifications aim to provide a more robust and capable platform for tackling challenging terrains, building upon the Expedition Tremor's already substantial off-road features. Hennessey has not disclosed the pricing for these specific Expedition modifications, but their previous VelociRaptor packages have typically added tens of thousands of dollars to the base vehicle price.
