Hermès Launches Cape Cod Titanium Watch

Hermès has launched a new titanium edition of its iconic Cape Cod watch, blending the collection's signature casual elegance with a modern, sporty aesthetic. First introduced in 1991 and designed by Henri d'Origny, the Cape Cod is recognized for its "square within a rectangle" case shape, inspired by nautical anchor chains. This latest 41mm iteration utilizes lightweight titanium, featuring a satin-finished top and beadblasted sides for a sophisticated textural contrast. The watch is presented with a black dial that incorporates layered finishes, including a sandblasted center and a satin-brushed outer ring. Arabic numerals and baton-style hands are rhodium-plated and coated with Super-LumiNova® for enhanced visibility, complemented by a vibrant orange seconds hand. Powering the timepiece is the Hermès Manufacture H1912 automatic movement, a Swiss-made caliber that provides hours, minutes, seconds, and a date display at the 6 o'clock position. This movement offers a 45-hour power reserve. Designed for active wear, the Cape Cod Titanium boasts 10-ATM water resistance. It is offered with a selection of colorful rubber straps, available in jaune de Naples (Naples yellow), orange, bleu abysse (abyss blue), and black, allowing for versatile styling. Further details regarding pricing and availability are accessible through Hermès' official website and boutiques.
