Full Tesla Cybercab Specs: EPA Documents Confirm Battery Size, Weight, Power, And Preliminary Range

Tesla's upcoming Cybercab, also known as the "Robotaxi," will feature a front-wheel-drive configuration, making it the first Tesla model to adopt this drivetrain. EPA documents filed in January 2024 reveal that the Cybercab will have a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,400 pounds (1,996 kg), significantly lighter than the Model 3's 4,700 pounds (2,132 kg) for its rear-wheel-drive variant. The vehicle is expected to be powered by a single electric motor, a departure from the dual-motor setups common in other Tesla models. While specific battery capacity figures are not yet public, preliminary range estimates suggest the Cybercab could achieve around 300 miles on a single charge, a figure competitive within the electric vehicle market. This information emerged from regulatory filings that also detailed the vehicle's dimensions and other performance-related specifications, underscoring Tesla's ongoing development of its autonomous driving technology and future mobility services.
