Community Colleges Reassess Program Effectiveness

Ten community colleges have begun reassessing their program value as part of a new initiative. This effort, co-created by the Aspen Institute and the Community College Research Center (CCRC), aims to enhance student success by guiding them into programs that lead to both employment and bachelor's degrees. The initiative has already facilitated pathways for over 20,000 students across these participating institutions.

The program focuses on identifying and strengthening curricula that align with labor market demands and provide clear routes for students seeking to advance their education. By analyzing program outcomes and student feedback, the colleges are working to ensure their offerings are relevant and lead to tangible career and academic opportunities.
