Carnival and adidas Launch Retro Gaming Adizero EVO SL

Bangkok-based retailer Carnival and adidas have officially launched their collaborative Adizero EVO SL sneaker, dubbed "The Grey Console," on July 22, 2026. This performance runner draws inspiration from the aesthetic of 1990s video game hardware, specifically referencing iconic systems like the Nintendo 64 and original Sony PlayStation. The shoe features a predominantly grey mesh upper, complemented by dark grey and black side-stripe paneling. Pops of red, green, yellow, and blue are strategically placed along the eyelets and branding to mimic the colors of classic video game controller buttons.

The design incorporates tonal Adizero branding on the tongue and subtle co-branded graphics on the interior insoles, signifying the partnership between the two entities. Despite its lifestyle-driven, retro gaming theme, the Adizero EVO SL "The Grey Console" retains its athletic performance capabilities.
