Cardano Activates Community-Voted Hard Fork Upgrade

This event marks a departure from previous updates where a single entity typically controlled the deployment process. The Vasil hard fork introduces several key improvements designed to enhance the network's scalability, performance, and developer experience.

Key among the upgrades are improvements to Plutus, Cardano's smart contract platform, which are expected to reduce the cost and increase the throughput of decentralized applications (dApps).
