White Mountaineering and Umbro Launch Fourth Archive-Inspired Collection

Japanese fashion label White Mountaineering and English football brand Umbro have launched their fourth collaborative collection, set to be released for the fall/winter 2026 season. This new line draws heavily from Umbro's extensive archives, integrating the brand's heritage designs with White Mountaineering's signature focus on functionality and contemporary aesthetics. The collection aims to merge the distinct design philosophies of both labels, offering a range of apparel built upon the foundation of Umbro's historical sportswear.

The collaboration features three distinct styles, each meticulously crafted to blend archival influences with modern material innovation. The centerpiece of the collection is a hooded jacket, priced at $620, which incorporates curved paneling inspired by an original Umbro design. This jacket is constructed from H2OFF®, a high-performance polyester taffeta renowned for its durable water repellency and breathability, while maintaining a natural texture and lightweight feel. It is available in four colorways: black, khaki, green, and gray. Complementing the jacket are easy pants, retailing for $490, which also showcase fluid paneling. These pants are designed with practical features such as concealed zippers on the back pockets, a gusseted crotch for enhanced mobility, and adjustable drawcords at the hems to customize the silhouette. Like the jacket, the pants are made using H2OFF® material and come in black, khaki, green, and gray.

The third item in the collection is a crewneck pullover, priced at $265. This piece takes inspiration from Umbro's archives, featuring striking paneling and constructed from a stretchy polyester-polyurethane cardboard knit. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the pullover offers functional benefits including UV protection and a cooling sensation upon contact with the skin. It is offered in three color options: black, khaki, and charcoal. All prices listed for the collection include tax.
