Bilt Introduces Bilt Cash Rewards Currency

Bilt Cash was introduced in early 2026 as a secondary rewards currency within the Bilt ecosystem, complementing the existing Bilt Points. This new currency allows Bilt members to earn rewards through various program engagements and offers a dollar-for-dollar redemption value across the Bilt platform for credits, travel, and other benefits. While named Bilt Cash, it cannot be redeemed for actual currency or transferred to other members, functioning strictly within the Bilt program's offerings. Members can view their Bilt Cash balance by accessing their wallet on the Bilt website or mobile application, with the balance typically displayed below the Bilt card information if a cardholder. The redemption options are accessible by clicking on the 'Redeem' section within the wallet.

Earning Bilt Cash is achievable through two main avenues: participation in the Bilt loyalty program and by holding a Bilt credit card. For loyalty program members, $50 in Bilt Cash is awarded each time they accumulate 25,000 qualifying Bilt Points towards achieving elite status within a calendar year. Progress toward these points milestones can be tracked on the Credits tab of the Rewards page. Bilt credit cardholders have additional earning opportunities. They can opt for a 'Flexible Bilt Cash' reward structure, which grants 4% in Bilt Cash on everyday spending, in addition to the standard Bilt Points earned. Alternatively, cardholders can choose 'Housing-only rewards,' where their regular card spending dictates the number of points earned on rent or mortgage payments, up to a maximum of 1.25 points per dollar spent. Bilt Cash is also integrated into the welcome offers for Bilt credit cards, providing new cardholders with an initial incentive. The introduction of Bilt Cash aims to enhance the value proposition of the Bilt rewards program, offering members more flexibility and tangible benefits for their engagement with the platform and its associated financial products.
