Viola Davis' Juvee Productions Signs Universal TV Deal

JuVee Productions, co-founded by Viola Davis and Julius Tennon, has entered into a first-look development and production deal with Universal Global Television. This agreement will see JuVee create and produce television series for all platforms in collaboration with Universal Global Television.

Viola Davis, an Emmy and Oscar-winning actress, and her husband Julius Tennon, a producer, established JuVee Productions with the aim of amplifying diverse voices and stories across various media. The company has previously been involved in producing projects such as the film "The Woman King" and the documentary "Maid."

Universal Global Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is responsible for distributing Universal's television content internationally and also engages in development and production partnerships. This deal signifies a strategic move for both JuVee Productions to expand its television footprint and for Universal Global Television to secure high-profile content with established talent.
