Valentino presented its Resort 2027 collection on June 17, 2024, in London. Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli drew inspiration from the city's punk and new wave movements, reinterpreting archival pieces with a modern, rebellious edge. The collection featured a blend of tailoring and softer silhouettes, with a notable emphasis on outerwear and sharp suiting. Piccioli incorporated signature Valentino elements like the V-logo and intricate embellishments, but applied them with a more graphic and deconstructed sensibility. The color palette was dominated by black, white, and shades of grey, punctuated by vibrant pops of red, a nod to the brand's heritage. Models walked the runway in looks that ranged from oversized blazers and leather trousers to flowing dresses adorned with unexpected hardware. The show, held at the historic Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, aimed to fuse the brand's established elegance with a raw, urban energy.
