Thomas Bangalter released his solo album "Mythologies" on April 7, 2023, marking a significant departure from his work with Daft Punk. The album, composed for a ballet of the same name, explores themes of mythology and humanity through a 90-minute orchestral score. Bangalter, who performed the ballet in Paris in January 2023, has been actively pursuing solo projects since Daft Punk's dissolution in February 2021. His post-Daft Punk endeavors include improvised DJ sets and hybrid creative works, demonstrating a deliberate move away from categorization. "Mythologies" features 11 tracks and was released by the independent label Erato.
