This London Bride Designed Both Her Wedding Dresses—and Those of Her Flower Girls

Amy Trinh, co-founder of Wed Studio, designed her own wedding dresses and those for her flower girls for her intimate wedding to TV presenter Ayo Akinwolere in north London. Trinh, who also runs the bridal design business, created two distinct gowns for herself. The first was a modern take on a classic ballgown, featuring a sculpted bodice and a voluminous skirt crafted from silk organza. This dress was designed to be versatile, with the skirt detachable to reveal a sleek, fitted sheath dress underneath for the reception. The second dress was a more contemporary slip dress, made from bias-cut silk charmeuse, intended for dancing. Trinh also designed matching dresses for her flower girls, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic for the bridal party. The wedding ceremony and reception took place in a private venue, emphasizing a personal and intimate atmosphere.
