Spurs join three-way Tonali fight - Wednesday's gossip

Tottenham Hotspur has been encouraged to make a bid for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali, who is currently serving a ban for breaching betting rules. The Italian international joined Newcastle from AC Milan in July 2023 for an initial fee of £55 million, with add-ons potentially rising to £60 million. Despite his current suspension, which began on October 17, 2023, and is set to last until August 2024, Spurs are reportedly considering a move. Real Madrid is also reportedly plotting a move for Manchester City defender Ruben Dias, with the Portuguese international having two years remaining on his current contract at the Etihad Stadium. Manchester United has also reportedly set a valuation for forward Marcus Rashford, with the club willing to consider offers in the region of £75 million for the England international. Rashford signed a new five-year contract with United in July 2023, which is worth approximately £300,000 per week.
