Segway, now owned by Ninebot, has launched the Xaber, an electric off-road motorcycle capable of exceeding 60 mph. This new offering positions the company, historically known for personal transporters, as a serious contender in the high-performance electric motorcycle market.

The Xaber is designed for off-road use and aims to provide a compelling alternative to existing electric dirt bikes. The company has been expanding its electric vehicle portfolio significantly in recent years, including e-bikes, e-scooters, and go-karts, under Ninebot's ownership.

In a review conducted over a month, the Segway Xaber was found to offer performance comparable to established competitors, such as Sur Ron, but at a more accessible price point. This strategy suggests Segway is targeting a broader market segment by balancing performance with affordability.
