Fugitive Posed as Biotech Exec for 20 Years

Ronald Fischer, a 70-year-old fugitive wanted for first-degree sexual assault, was apprehended in New York last week after more than two decades on the run. For a significant portion of this time, Fischer reportedly operated under the alias Richard Graydon and held a position as a biotech executive. Immix Biopharma, a California-based company, stated in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Monday that Richard Graydon was terminated on Friday for reasons unrelated to his activities within the company. This termination occurred shortly before Fischer's arrest.

Fischer, a former anesthesiologist licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, fled the state in 2005 as his trial for first-degree sexual assault was underway. He was accused of raping a woman during a date aboard his yacht, named Lion King. His evasion of law enforcement for over 20 years highlights a prolonged period of successful concealment, during which he apparently established a new identity and professional career in the biotechnology sector. The specific details of his activities within the biotech industry prior to his termination remain unclear, beyond his role at Immix Biopharma.
