NVIDIA has announced a record-breaking quantum computing simulation conducted on JUPITER, Europe's first exascale supercomputer.
This simulation allowed researchers to fully explore and validate magic state cultivation, which is a leading approach to fault-tolerant quantum computing.
Magic state cultivation requires 90% fewer qubits compared to previous methods for achieving fault-tolerant quantum computing.
