Stone Island Sound Reimagines Navy Blue's 'Sir Render' Vinyl

Stone Island Sound has unveiled a limited-edition vinyl release for Sage Elsesser's latest Navy Blue studio project, "Sir Render." This collaboration highlights Stone Island's increasing focus on its audio division, following previous work with Dave on custom tour wardrobes and the "SOUND AS A FORM OF RESEARCH" playlist series. The "Sir Render" vinyl, which initially dropped in June, features 15 tracks exploring themes of duality, identity, and transformation, centered around a knight confronting internal conflict.

The physical reimagining of the album by Stone Island Sound is presented as a collectible artifact. The artwork, created by Liam Macrae, is structured as a diptych, symbolizing the record's core motif of duality. The first part of the diptych displays a custom bust of Sage Elsesser, depicted as an archetypal figure wearing bespoke chainmail armor. The second part features a custom shield bearing Stone Island's signature stellina logo. Together, these elements form a unified system, representing the balance between vulnerability and defense, and the interior and exterior aspects of the album's narrative.

This special edition vinyl collectible became available for purchase starting July 16. It can be acquired at select Stone Island flagship stores globally and through Navy Blue's official webstore. The release time was set for 10 a.m. EST. This initiative underscores Stone Island's continued integration of art, music, and fashion, positioning its audio arm as a significant component of its brand identity.
