Katherine Heigl Lists Utah Mansion for $10.6 Million

Actress Katherine Heigl listed her custom-built mansion on a 25-acre property in Oakley, Utah, for $10.6 million this week. Heigl, known for "Grey's Anatomy," "27 Dresses," and "Knocked Up," originally purchased the land for $1 million in 2007. She and her husband, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley, spent approximately a year building their dream home on the expansive parcel, completing it in 2008.

Heigl and Kelley, who share three children, are relocating to a smaller, nearby Victorian farmhouse that they have spent the past year restoring. Listing agent Paul Benson of Engel & Völkers stated that the move signifies a new chapter for their family as their children grow older. Heigl and Kelley initially relocated to Utah full-time in 2012, seeking a more peaceful existence away from the Hollywood spotlight.

The Oakley property features a substantial custom mansion designed to complement its mountain setting. The decision to sell comes 14 years after Heigl stepped back from her prominent acting career in Los Angeles to embrace a more private lifestyle in Utah. The sale of the 25-acre estate marks a significant transition for the couple as they settle into their newly renovated farmhouse.
