Studio LOHO Opens Jonojé Luxury B&B in Bruges

Studio LOHO has opened Jonojé, a six-suite luxury bed and breakfast located in a former brush factory on the outskirts of Bruges, Belgium. The 1,000-square-meter property is designed as a hybrid space, functioning as an immersive gallery, showroom, and studio in addition to a guesthouse. The garden spans an additional 1,250 square meters, offering guests an expansive outdoor area. Each of the six suites is conceived as a private sanctuary, featuring generous layouts, high ceilings, and soundproofing for enhanced tranquility. The interiors embody Studio LOHO's minimalist yet warm aesthetic, incorporating curated furniture and art to create a gallery-like atmosphere within each room. Specific design elements include organically plastered walls, freestanding ceramic shower cubicles, clay washbasins, and unique cast floors decorated with clay residue motifs. The suites are further enhanced by organic ceramic switches designed by Maison Kallis and bamboo-slat structures, notably in the ROKU suite. A signature feature of the suites is Studio LOHO's monolithic clay bathtub, entirely modeled and fired from a single piece of clay. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, Jonojé aims to provide a deeply soothing guest experience. Each suite is equipped with a kitchenette, including a dining table, refrigerator, minibar, coffee maker, and kettle. Guests are offered a vegetarian breakfast served in their suite, featuring homemade sourdough bread, whipped butter, and a selection of local cheeses, jams, and spreads. The property also provides rental bicycles and a digital concierge to assist guests in exploring Bruges and its surroundings.
