Heart of Midlothian is nearing a deal to sign winger Yutaro Oda from Maruyasu Industries on March 18, 2024, according to a club insider. The Scottish Premiership club has been in negotiations for the 22-year-old Japanese player for several weeks, with a fee of approximately £200,000 reportedly agreed upon. Oda, who can play on either flank, is expected to provide competition and depth to Hearts' attacking options. Meanwhile, Celtic is reportedly monitoring the progress of forward Oh Hyeon-gyu, with the South Korean international having attracted attention from clubs in Germany and Italy. Oh, who joined Celtic in January 2023 from Suwon Samsung Bluewings, has scored 7 goals in 30 appearances for the Glasgow club. Additionally, Hibernian midfielder Nectarios Triantis is being considered by a number of clubs, including those in England and the Netherlands. Triantis, a 20-year-old Australian, joined Hibs in January 2023 from Central Coast Mariners and has made 18 appearances for the Edinburgh club.
