Google Search Console AI performance reports rolling out to more users

Google Search Console has expanded access to its AI performance reports to a wider user base this week. John Mueller of Google confirmed on Bluesky that the rollout is incremental, with the company reviewing feedback as it progresses. The AI performance report is designed to show website owners how their content is performing within Google's AI-driven features, including AI responses, AI Mode, and AI Overviews. The report provides data on impressions, pages, countries, devices, and dates, although it does not currently include click data. Initially observed by SEO professionals, the report's availability has now extended beyond the United Kingdom to sites in countries such as the United States, India, and Switzerland. This expansion follows the initial release of the feature approximately 20 days prior, a pace of rollout that surprised some industry observers. Site owners and publishers have been seeking greater control and visibility into how their content is utilized by Google's AI features since their introduction.
