Goldwin 0, the experimental design platform under the Goldwin brand, unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 collection at TANK Shanghai. This season's collection emphasizes a redefinition of outdoor apparel through a three-dimensional approach encompassing material, structure, and performance, with "air" serving as a central design inspiration. The brand visualized this concept through offline installations designed to make the functionality of the apparel palpable to attendees. Upon entering the TANK Shanghai venue, visitors encountered two distinct installations that showcased core items within a simulated misty, cold autumn and winter atmosphere. One installation featured an inflatable vest suspended in cold mist, highlighting its Auxetic structure and air volume adjustment capabilities, which allow for flexible temperature control to adapt to unpredictable seasonal weather conditions. The second installation displayed an outdoor cape blanket draped lightly over a sphere, emphasizing its extreme lightness and the application of a titanium sputtering process to enhance thermal efficiency without compromising the fabric's softness and flexibility. Goldwin 0 collaborated with an art team, utilizing projection technology to transform TANK's art space into an environment that bridges the urban and natural worlds. The artistic presentation began with urban space scans and sound materials recorded on-site in Shanghai, employing point cloud imagery and sound design to reinterpret the structures and textures found in industrial architecture and urban fringes. The display area also featured other key pieces from the collection. The brand's signature 3D Box Baffle down jacket has been further evolved for this season, incorporating origami-like pleats to gather down into three-dimensional baffles and utilizing ultra-light nylon for a lighter overall garment. The cocoon jacket and thermal vest from the same series are constructed with WINDSTOPPER fabric by GORE-TEX LABS. These garments feature a titanium-treated lining that conforms closely to the body when a drawcord is pulled, ensuring both wind protection and a refined silhouette. Beyond its focus on innovative silhouettes, Goldwin 0 continues its exploration of natural fibers. The collection includes waist-length jackets and Helicoid pants made from ultra-high-density cotton, with the pants distinguished by a seam that forms a slowly unrolling spiral. Additionally, loose wool fleece garments are presented, further underscoring the brand's commitment to material innovation and functional design in its experimental outdoor apparel.
