Upon successful enrollment, Platinum and Business Platinum cardmembers receive Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status, Hilton Honors Gold status, and Leaders Club Sterling status. These elite tiers are maintained as long as the respective American Express card account remains open. The annual fee for both the Amex Platinum Card and The Business Platinum Card is $895, making it important for cardholders to leverage all available perks to maximize value.

To enroll in these hotel elite status benefits, cardmembers must first create accounts with Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton Honors, and Leaders Club. Subsequently, they need to log in to their American Express account, navigate to the "Rewards & Benefits" section, and select "Benefits." Within this section, under a "Premium Travel" area, separate icons for Hilton, Marriott, and The Leading Hotels of the World will be displayed.
