Fiat 500 Jolly Reimagined as Superyacht Land Tender

Garage Italia and Hot Lab have collaborated to unveil a custom Fiat 500 Jolly "Spiaggina" concept, reimagining the classic open-air Fiat 500 as a luxury land tender for superyacht owners. This project draws inspiration from vintage 1950s speedboats, integrating automotive design with nautical aesthetics. The custom build features a distinctive two-tone livery, with white on the upper section and blue on the lower part, explicitly designed to emulate the visual separation between a yacht's hull and the waterline. This nautical color scheme is further extended to the vehicle's canopy and seating, which are upholstered in "Scia," a newly developed indoor-outdoor fabric created by Garage Italia and manufactured by Mariaflora. The "Scia" fabric updates traditional stripe patterns with a contemporary wavy design that evokes the wake of a boat on water. Central to the cabin is a "Heritage Tunnel" constructed from wood, which offers customization options, including the integration of a magazine rack or a wine bottle holder. This feature is complemented by a classic Nardi wooden steering wheel, adding to the bespoke luxury feel. The flooring of the "Spiaggina" is equipped with blue-and-white floor mats provided by Italdek. These mats are crafted from marine-grade material, meticulously designed to replicate the appearance of traditional wooden boat decking. To enhance the nautical theme, the mats are secured with side ropes that incorporate authentic nautical knots. The Fiat 500 Jolly "Spiaggina" Concept is presented as a production-ready vehicle and is available for purchase upon request through Hot Lab. This initiative signifies a unique intersection of automotive customization and luxury lifestyle, catering to a niche market of superyacht enthusiasts seeking exclusive land-based transport that complements their maritime pursuits.
