FrightFest 2024 Lineup Features 82 Horror Films

FrightFest, the United Kingdom's largest horror and fantasy film festival, announced its full lineup for its 27th edition on July 4, 2024. The festival will present a record 82 feature films, marking its largest program to date. The five-day event is scheduled to take place from August 22 to August 26, 2024, across two London venues: the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square and the Odeon Luxe West End.

Abner Pastoll's new thriller, 'Nervous,' has been selected to open the festival. The film stars Adam Nagaitis, Sophie McShera, and Riley Keough. FrightFest will also host the world premiere of 'The Devil's Bath,' directed by Felix Guerra and Jeff Chan. Other notable films in the lineup include 'The Watchers,' directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan, and 'Late Night with the Devil,' which premiered at SXSW in 2023.

The festival's program includes a diverse range of horror subgenres, from supernatural thrillers to psychological dramas and creature features. This year's selection aims to showcase both established filmmakers and emerging talent within the horror genre. FrightFest has become a significant platform for independent horror cinema, attracting filmmakers and fans from around the globe.
