James Van Der Beek's Former Beverly Hills Home Now a $13.5K Rental

James Van Der Beek's former Beverly Hills residence has been listed for rent at $13,950 per month, approximately five months after the actor's death on February 11 at the age of 48. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom home was occupied by Van Der Beek, his wife Kimberly, and their children before their relocation to Texas in 2020. The property underwent a significant design renovation by the Van Der Beeks, which was featured in Architectural Digest.

While it was widely reported that the Van Der Beeks owned the Beverly Hills property, estimated to be worth around $4 million, property records indicate that the family had only leased the home. The dwelling is actually registered to a trust associated with Rochelle and Donald Sterling, who are identified as billionaire real estate moguls and former owners of the Los Angeles Clippers. The Sterlings are now offering the property as a rental.

The current rental price of $13,950 per month represents an increase from its 2021 asking price of $11,000. The listing, managed by Terri Scheid of Vision Realty, Inc., spans just over 3,100 square feet. Although the listing description is absent, images reveal that the home retains much of its Spanish-style decor from the time the Van Der Beeks resided there.
