Europol Disrupts AudiA6 Crypto Laundering Service Used by Ransomware Gangs

Europol announced the disruption of AudiA6, a cryptocurrency laundering service utilized by ransomware gangs and cybercriminal networks, on Thursday. The operation effectively severed a significant financial channel for illicit profits, with Europol stating that AudiA6 was instrumental in washing hundreds of millions of euros in illegal gains. Investigations suggest the service facilitated the laundering of over €336 million, equivalent to approximately $389 million, since its inception.
