Damodaran: AI Shaky, High-Potential Business for SpaceX

SpaceX's market capitalization reached approximately $2.7 trillion on its third day of trading, a valuation that would place it ahead of Amazon. Aswath Damodaran, a Professor of Finance at NYU Stern School of Business, offered his valuation analysis, stating that his recent assessment placed SpaceX's enterprise value at around $1.2 trillion and its equity value near $1.3 trillion. This estimate is roughly half of the company's current market capitalization. Damodaran shared these insights during an interview on Bloomberg's "The Close" with Romaine Bostick and Katie Greifeld.
