Corcoran SRG Residential Opens New Merrick Office

Corcoran SRG Residential opened a new 2,600-square-foot office in Merrick, New York, this week, marking an expansion of its operations across Nassau and western Suffolk counties. This new location at 196 Merrick Road will function as the brokerage's South Shore headquarters and will accommodate existing agents alongside several newly affiliated teams. The expansion follows the recent launch of Corcoran SRG Residential as Corcoran's inaugural Long Island affiliate, complementing its existing Syosset office.

The Merrick office has welcomed new agents and teams, including the Island Realty Group Team, comprising Brandon Cohen, Jerry Yedid, Jake Yedid, Justin Katzman, Bruce Katzman, Gillian DiNapoli, Vincent Vigna, and Joseph Nocella. The Tepper Kaplan Team, with Jennifer Tepper and Andrea Kaplan, has also joined, along with individual agents Natan Amos, Joseph LaViola, Frank Monforte Jr., and Nick Monforte. These newly affiliated professionals collectively generated approximately $85 million in sales volume during 2025, according to company statements.

David Cohen, co-owner of Corcoran SRG Residential, expressed enthusiasm for the Merrick establishment, stating it reflects the "momentum we're building across Long Island and our commitment to attracting the region's top talent." Managing Broker and Co-Owner Sam Horowitz identified Merrick and Bellmore as long-standing strategic markets for the firm. The brokerage asserts that the new office enhances its capacity to serve buyers and sellers throughout Nassau County and strengthens its position in a competitive residential market.

Leaders highlighted Merrick's appeal as a desirable residential community, citing factors such as limited housing inventory, robust buyer demand, reputable school districts, and convenient Long Island Rail Road access to Manhattan. This strategic positioning aims to leverage the market's strengths for the brokerage's growth.
