Converse and Tyler, The Creator Release 1908 Series Footwear

Converse and Tyler, The Creator, through his GOLF le FLEUR* label, have expanded their 1908 Series with a new footwear capsule released on July 16. This collaboration draws inspiration from archival designs, merging 1970s basketball heritage with retro running aesthetics to create contemporary streetwear.

The collection features reimagined versions of two iconic silhouettes: the 1908 Pro Leather and the 1908 Jogger. The 1908 Pro Leather, a revival of the 1970s basketball shoe, is presented in a low-top profile with updated features such as wider eyelet rows, chunky laces, and a rubber toe cap with an oversized star. This model is available in three vintage-inspired colorways: "Amazon" (green suede with white leather), "White" (white leather with green suede accents), and a vibrant red suede option. All Pro Leather versions are finished with deliberately aged tan gum midsoles.

The 1908 Jogger updates the classic 1970s Coach running shoe. Instead of the traditional nylon and suede, this iteration utilizes a premium, full-grain leather upper for a more elevated casual wear aesthetic. The shoe features a clean base, a retro foam midsole, and a high-traction rubber outsole. Both models are priced between $95 and $115 USD and are available for purchase on Converse and Golf Le Fleur* platforms.
