Contemporary100 Launches Art Trading Card Universe

Contemporary100 launched the world's first contemporary art trading card universe on July 28, 2026, with its inaugural 2026 Collection available exclusively on Contemporary100.com. This new platform aims to make contemporary art more accessible through collectible trading cards, reimagining the traditional format for art enthusiasts and collectors. The launch introduces a unique ecosystem designed to unite 100 contemporary artists from diverse global backgrounds.

Each randomized pack contains 10 cards: nine Base Cards and one Foil Card. A key feature of the collection is the chance to pull a one-of-one Artist-Signed Card, offering a rare collectible for lucky buyers. The inaugural lineup includes a wide array of artistic disciplines, such as painting, sculpture, photography, installation, digital art, performance, and public art. Prominent artists featured in this first collection include Daniel Arsham, Felipe Pantone, Hebru Brantley, Vhils, Stickymonger, and Josh Sperling, among others.

Daniel Arsham, one of the featured artists, commented on the initiative, stating, "Trading cards exist between image, object and memory, carrying stories that extend beyond their surface."
