sacai and Birkenstock Debut SS27 Hybrid Footwear With Dr. Woo Ink

sacai unveiled a significant footwear collaboration with BIRKENSTOCK during its Men’s Spring & Summer 2027 runway show, merging the iconic Boston clog and Arizona sandal.

The "Frankenstein fusion" design doubles and triples the traditional strap configurations, presented in neutral tones of black, beige, and slate grey. This collaboration builds on BIRKENSTOCK's heritage, which dates back to 1774, and sacai's signature multi-layering aesthetic.

Select iterations of the hybrid sandals feature custom fine-line graphic uppers designed by Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Dr. Woo. Dr. Woo is recognized for his detailed, geometric ink work, which adds a unique artistic element to the footwear.

The collection also includes a matching utility bag made from the same premium suede as the sandals. This bag features BIRKENSTOCK’s bone-pattern outsole and an adjustable strap, referencing the brand's orthopedic heritage.
