Speaking on the 20VC podcast last year, Feldman asserted that this notion is "mind-boggling" and "not true in any part of life." Feldman's viewpoint suggests that while individuals can lead fulfilling lives and find happiness with a standard 40-hour workweek, those aiming to launch "unicorns" or develop "generation-defining products" must dedicate significantly more time. He elaborated that the path to creating something novel and making it great is not compatible with "part-time work" or schedules of "30, 40, 50 hours a week," but rather demands "every waking minute," acknowledging that such dedication comes with inherent costs.
