Carly Rae Jepsen Announces Double Album ‘Day and Night’

Carly Rae Jepsen announced a 24-track double album titled "Day and Night" on August 1, 2024, scheduled for release on September 18 via Interscope Records. The album is conceptually divided into two distinct 12-song sections: "Day" and "Night." According to a press release, the "Day" portion is characterized as "organic and raw, with live instrumentation and hints of '70s-inspired psychedelic pop." The "Night" section, conversely, is described as featuring "more electronic, synth-driven, and dance-oriented sounds." This marks Jepsen's first full-length project since her 2022 album "The Loneliest Time." The announcement was accompanied by the release of two new singles, "On the 1" featuring Carly Rae Jepsen and "Midnight" featuring Carly Rae Jepsen, both of which will be included on the "Night" portion of the album. "Day and Night" will be available on all major streaming platforms and for purchase.
