Camper and ISSEY MIYAKE Launch First Footwear Collaboration

Camper and ISSEY MIYAKE have launched Peu Form, their inaugural footwear collaboration, designed by Satoshi Kondo for ISSEY MIYAKE's FW26 collection. This partnership reimagines Camper’s iconic Peu silhouette, drawing inspiration from ISSEY MIYAKE's "a piece of cloth" concept to explore how a single material piece can organically wrap the foot. The collaboration aims to balance originality with functionality, resulting in a shoe with an organic and fluid appearance.

The Peu Form collection features an unstructured, collapsible construction designed for adaptability. It includes two primary styles: a versatile shoe that can be worn as a mule and an ankle boot designed to fit like a second skin. The footwear is crafted from supple Italian leather, emphasizing softness and flexibility. Comfort is further enhanced by a PU footbed and an outsole made with 20% recycled TPU, reflecting a commitment to reduced environmental impact.

The color palette for the Peu Form collection includes neutral black and white, alongside vivid Klein blue and Camper’s signature red, offering a range of understated and statement options. The branding is intentionally subtle, allowing the sculptural form and the quality of the materials to be the focal points. This collaboration highlights the shared dedication of both Camper and ISSEY MIYAKE to craftsmanship and responsible design in everyday products.
