Building Scientists in the AI Era

Stevens Institute of Technology launched the AI in Biology and Chemistry Community on June 17, 2026, to guide students in leveraging artificial intelligence for careers in health care, biotechnology, and educational technology. This initiative aims to equip students with the skills to utilize AI tools for scientific research and accelerate discoveries within the life sciences. The program fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, allowing students from Stevens, Hudson County Community College, and Saint Peter’s University to engage with AI applications.
