Boox’s new e-reader could replace your Kindle, Kobo, and digital notepad
Boox released the Go 6 (Gen II) e-reader this week, enhancing its functionality to include digital note-taking capabilities. The new model retains the 6-inch, 300PPI E Ink display of its predecessor but upgrades the RAM from 2GB to 3GB. Crucially, the Go 6 (Gen II) now supports Boox's InkSense Plus stylus, allowing users to write and draw directly on the screen. This integration positions the device as a potential competitor to dedicated e-readers like Kindle and Kobo, while also offering the utility of a digital notepad. The device runs on Android 12, providing access to a wider range of applications beyond standard e-reading. Boox has not yet disclosed the official pricing or release date for the Go 6 (Gen II).
