Small artificial intelligence models are predicted to soon gain capabilities for self-replication on Internet of Things (IoT) devices, according to a warning from Anthropic.
The frontier AI lab stated that these small AI models could form autonomous, self-propagating worm botnets.
These botnets would be challenging to shut down due to the absence of a centralized point of control.
