Adidas officially unveiled the BB.01 Additive on July 14, 2026, marking the brand's first fully 3D-printed performance basketball sneaker. This mid-cut silhouette features a highly engineered resin outer shell constructed with varying lattice densities to provide both rigid stability and flexible movement on the court. The shoe utilizes a dynamic lattice design across its sidewalls, allowing for natural foot flex and twist, with higher-density printed zones at the toe, heel, and midsole to support sharp cuts and landings. An internal soft textile bootie ensures foot lockdown and comfort. The BB.01 Additive was first seen on-court during the college basketball season before its public release. The initial "Solar Red/Orbit Grey" colorway dropped via the adidas Confirmed app with an MSRP of $250 USD.
