Acne Studios Launches Bath and Body Line With Frédéric Malle

Acne Studios and Éditions de Parfums Frédéric Malle have expanded their fragrance collaboration with the launch of the fashion label's inaugural bath and body products. The new line includes a 200ml body wash and a 200ml body milk, both featuring the same scent profile as the 2024 eau de parfum.

The scent architecture of these new products is built upon notes of aldehydes, rose, violet, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood, peach skin, and white musk. This expansion into bath and body signifies a deepening of the partnership between the Swedish fashion house and the Parisian perfume publisher, moving beyond the initial fragrance offering.

The original "Acne Studios par Frédéric Malle" fragrance, launched in 2024, was the result of a correspondence initiated by a handwritten letter from Frédéric Malle to Acne Studios founder and creative director Jonny Johansson. Both entities share a multidisciplinary approach, drawing inspiration from photography, architecture, culture, and design, which formed the foundation for their collaboration.

Frédéric Malle established Éditions de Parfums in 2000 with the principle of empowering perfumers as named authors, granting them creative freedom. Similarly, Jonny Johansson has guided Acne Studios into diverse fields including publishing, furniture, and retail architecture, alongside its fashion collections. The extended bath and body range suggests a sustained creative dialogue between the two brands, integrating the fragrance into a more intimate daily ritual.
