Snorlax Installation Marks Pokémon Sleep's 3rd Anniversary in Yokohama

The Pokémon Company and Mitsubishi Estate are co-hosting a six-week 'Pokémon Sleep' third anniversary event in Yokohama's Minato Mirai district, running from July 17 to August 23. The event, officially titled "Pokémon Sleep 3rd Anniversary 横浜でみっけ!ポケモンねがおリサーチ presented by MITSUBISHI ESTATE GROUP," spans two major shopping centers: Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minatomirai. A central attraction is a roughly 3-meter-tall Snorlax installation positioned in Landmark Plaza's Sakata no Tane Garden Square, designed to resemble a sleeping Pokémon. This installation is surrounded by photos of dozing Pokémon and includes a message corner where visitors can leave notes on berry-shaped cards.

Landmark Plaza also features a Mega Pokémon Gacha machine offering four exclusive Pokémon Sleep muffler towel designs on its third floor. The MARK IS Minatomirai shopping center is the primary hub for retail and food-related activities. It houses a dedicated Pokémon Sleep Shop on its first floor, offering 29 limited-edition items created specifically for the third anniversary. These merchandise items include Pokémon 30th anniversary pin badges featuring Snorlax, Pikachu, and Eevee, an oversized Snorlax cushion, a 3rd anniversary festival T-shirt, a "Cyan Beach" clear bottle, bucket hats, sleeping stickers, and carrying pouches.

In addition to the merchandise, MARK IS Minatomirai includes a themed drink stand and a unique nap pod developed by Toyota, allowing visitors to experience a sleep-themed attraction. The entire activation is free to enter. To encourage exploration across both venues, a stamp rally is organized, rewarding visitors who complete challenges at both Landmark Plaza and MARK IS Minatomirai. This event celebrates the third anniversary of the Pokémon Sleep mobile app, which tracks users' sleep patterns.
