Volvo EX60 Electric SUV Pricing and Specs Revealed

Volvo announced the pricing and specifications for its upcoming 2027 EX60 electric SUV this week, with the base model set to retail for $45,000. This new all-electric vehicle aims to compete in the growing compact luxury SUV segment, offering a blend of Scandinavian design, advanced technology, and sustainability.

The EX60 will be available in two powertrain configurations. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive version will deliver an estimated 270 miles of range on a full charge, while the dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant will boast an estimated 300 miles of range. Both models will feature a 78 kWh battery pack, with fast-charging capabilities allowing for a 10% to 80% charge in approximately 28 minutes using a DC fast charger.

Inside, the EX60 will showcase Volvo's minimalist interior design, featuring sustainable materials such as recycled textiles and responsibly sourced wood. A central 12-inch touchscreen will control most vehicle functions, integrating Google's built-in services for navigation, media, and voice commands. Standard safety features will include a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance systems, building on Volvo's long-standing reputation for safety.

Deliveries for the 2027 Volvo EX60 are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2027. Volvo is positioning the EX60 as a more accessible entry point into its electric vehicle lineup, complementing its larger XC40 Recharge and C40 Recharge models. The company has committed to becoming a fully electric brand by 2030, with vehicles like the EX60 playing a crucial role in achieving this goal.
