Telo MT1 Electric Truck Debuts With 350-Mile Range

Telo Motors unveiled its Telo MT1 electric pickup truck this week, targeting a starting price of $50,000 before incentives. The company projects an estimated range of 350 miles on a single charge, positioning it competitively within the growing electric truck market. Deliveries are slated to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, with initial production focused on a limited run of 10,000 units.

The Telo MT1 is designed with a modular bed system, allowing users to reconfigure the cargo area for various needs. This includes options for a standard pickup bed, a flatbed, or even a camper shell. The vehicle's dimensions are comparable to a mid-size pickup, measuring 19.7 feet in length, which Telo Motors states makes it easier to maneuver and park than larger electric trucks currently available. The company also highlighted its dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, which is standard on all trims.

In addition to the standard configuration, Telo Motors is offering an optional "Adventure Package" that includes enhanced suspension, all-terrain tires, and increased ground clearance. The interior features a minimalist design with a central touchscreen display controlling most vehicle functions. Telo Motors has not yet released detailed specifications for battery capacity or charging times, but the company has indicated that it will support DC fast charging, aiming for a 10% to 80% charge in under 30 minutes. Pre-orders for the Telo MT1 opened on March 1, 2024, requiring a $150 deposit.
