Hyundai Launches 2027 Ioniq 6 N Performance EV

Hyundai officially unveiled the 2027 Ioniq 6 N, a high-performance electric sedan, detailing its specifications, pricing, and release timeline. This marks the introduction of Hyundai's dedicated N performance brand to its electric vehicle lineup, signaling a significant step in the company's electrification strategy. The Ioniq 6 N is positioned as a premium electric sports sedan, aiming to blend everyday usability with track-inspired performance.

The 2027 Hyundai Ioniq 6 N is built upon the E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) shared with other Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis EVs. It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, delivering a combined output of 641 horsepower and 546 lb-ft of torque, with an overboost function available for short bursts of acceleration. This power enables the Ioniq 6 N to achieve a 0-60 mph time of just 3.4 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with a 84.0 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of 270 miles on a single charge, though this figure may vary with performance driving.

Significant performance enhancements distinguish the Ioniq 6 N from its standard Ioniq 6 counterpart. These include a reinforced chassis, upgraded suspension components, and larger brakes designed for enhanced stopping power.
