Cadillac Escalade IQ Pricing and Specs Revealed

Cadillac officially revealed the 2027 Escalade IQ, its first all-electric full-size SUV, on May 16, 2024. The luxury electric vehicle will have a starting Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $130,000 for the base 2025 model year, with deliveries expected to begin in late 2024. An additional trim level, the Escalade IQ Sport, will be available starting at $138,000.

The Escalade IQ is built on General Motors' Ultium platform and is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing an estimated 680 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque in standard mode. A "Velocity Max" mode increases output to 750 horsepower and 780 lb-ft of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 5 seconds. The vehicle features a large 200 kWh Ultium battery pack, offering an estimated EPA range of up to 450 miles on a single charge. It supports DC fast charging, capable of adding approximately 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes with a 350 kW charger.

Inside, the Escalade IQ boasts a massive 55-inch curved LED display that spans nearly the entire dashboard, integrating the driver's instrument cluster and infotainment system. This display is powered by the Cadillac User Experience and supports over a billion colors. The SUV also features a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system, a panoramic glass roof, and advanced driver-assistance systems, including Cadillac's Super Cruise hands-free driving technology. The interior is designed with premium materials and offers ample space for passengers, with a focus on comfort and luxury.

The exterior design of the Escalade IQ incorporates distinctive styling cues that differentiate it from its gasoline-powered counterpart, including a unique front fascia, aerodynamic wheels, and a sleek silhouette. The vehicle measures 211.9 inches in length, making it slightly shorter than the current Escalade ESV but offering comparable interior volume. Cadillac has also integrated a front trunk, or "frunk," providing additional storage space. The 2027 Cadillac Escalade IQ is positioned to compete in the growing segment of luxury electric SUVs, aiming to blend iconic Escalade presence with advanced electric powertrain technology and premium amenities.
