Lucid Gravity Touring SUV Review: A Strong Act 2

Lucid Motors has launched its second act with the 2026 Gravity electric SUV, following the introduction of the Air sedan in late 2021. The initial Air Dream Edition tested boasted over 1,100 hp and a price tag exceeding $180,000, establishing Lucid as a producer of high-performance electric vehicles. The Gravity SUV, debuted last year, aims to expand the company's market reach.

The 2026 Gravity Touring model, which the author recently tested, has a starting price of approximately $82,000 in the US, inclusive of the destination charge. The specific test vehicle was equipped with several optional features, enhancing its luxury and performance. These additions included a 22-speaker audio system, a Comfort and Convenience package, third-row seating, and a Dynamic Handling package that incorporated rear-wheel steering and a three-chamber air suspension system.

Further enhancing the premium experience, the test model also featured a luxury seating package. This package bundled Nappa leather upholstery with massaging and ventilated front seats, providing an elevated level of comfort for occupants. Additionally, the vehicle was finished in a special metallic paint, contributing to its distinctive aesthetic. The Gravity Touring represents Lucid's effort to deliver a sophisticated and capable electric SUV.
