Zenith Launches Chronomaster Solo Sport with Three-Hand Design

Zenith unveiled the Chronomaster Solo Sport collection at Geneva Watch Days 2026, introducing a significant evolution to its renowned Chronomaster line. This new model marks a departure from the traditional chronograph functions by adopting a versatile three-hand timekeeping format, moving away from the collection's signature chronograph subdials. The Chronomaster Solo Sport is housed within a 40mm stainless steel case, designed with balanced proportions and featuring a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel. Protective crown guards are integrated on either side of the case, enhancing its robust aesthetic and functionality. The timepiece is distinguished by its ceramic dial, which is available in three distinct finishes: sunray white, polished black, and polished brown. A unique design element is the dial's engraved pattern, a repeated 45-degree "Z" motif, intended to visually represent the high-frequency operation of the movement within. This pattern is complemented by a historical "shark tooth" minute track along the dial's outer edge. The dial features faceted indices treated with Super-LumiNova SLN C1 for enhanced legibility in low-light conditions, and a central seconds hand is adorned with a star-shaped counterweight. Engineered for an active lifestyle, the Chronomaster Solo Sport boasts a screw-down crown and a water resistance rating of 20 ATM, equivalent to 200 meters. Powering the watch is the in-house automatic El Primero 3620 caliber, a movement derived from the El Primero 3600. This high-frequency movement operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour (vph) and incorporates modern advancements such as a silicon escapement and a stop-seconds mechanism for precise time setting. It also features a newly designed star-shaped openworked rotor and offers a power reserve of 60 hours. The Chronomaster Solo Sport is presented with a new three-link stainless steel bracelet. This bracelet is equipped with Zenith's newly developed ZENCLASP, an ergonomic folding clasp designed for comfort and security. The ZENCLASP is composed of 41 individual components and utilizes 10 ceramic locking balls to ensure a secure closure. A key feature of the clasp is its tool-free micro-adjustment mechanism, allowing for adjustments in 2.5mm increments up to a total of 10mm, providing a personalized fit. The Chronomaster Solo Sport collection is now available globally through Zenith's authorized retailers and online channels.
