Xiaomi Unveils SkyNomad N90 Extended-Range EV

Xiaomi revealed the SkyNomad N90, its inaugural extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and the first model in its new SkyNomad series, on May 15, 2024. CEO Lei Jun shared the initial exterior images, with a subsequent regulatory filing confirming the vehicle's specifications. The N90 is designed as a full-size, three-row SUV.

The SkyNomad N90 claims a combined range exceeding 1,500 kilometers (932 miles), positioning it as a direct competitor in China's rapidly expanding EREV market. This segment is currently dominated by rivals such as Li Auto and Huawei-backed Aito. The vehicle's extended range is a key selling point, addressing consumer concerns about charging infrastructure and travel distances.
