England's NHS to Fund Life-Extending Breast Cancer Drug

Thousands of women in England diagnosed with HER2-low advanced breast cancer will gain access to the life-extending drug Enhertu through the National Health Service (NHS). This significant development follows successful negotiations between ministers and the pharmaceutical company responsible for the drug, Daiichi Sankyo, regarding its price. Approximately 1,000 women annually will become eligible to receive Enhertu starting from Thursday, September 17, 2026.
