The documentary "The Cycle of Love" recounts the extraordinary real-life journey of Pradyumna Kumar Mahanandia, an Indian street artist known as PK, who cycled over 6,000 miles from India to Sweden in December 1975 to be reunited with his love, Lotta von Schedvin. The couple met in New Delhi when Lotta, a Swedish hippy, sat for a portrait by PK. Their connection was immediate, leading to a whirlwind romance and PK introducing Lotta to his family in India. However, Lotta eventually had to return to Sweden with her friends, leaving a heartbroken PK behind.

Unable to afford a plane ticket, PK was determined to follow Lotta. He purchased a secondhand Raleigh bicycle and, with only $80 sewn into his trousers, embarked on his ambitious journey. He navigated through India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkey, crossing various European countries before finally reaching Sweden.
